Golden color with a boring aroma that barely shows any honey. Beer flavor is watery and grainy...blah...skip it. falkirk005 (27), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 11, 2008 Local beer for me. Pours a golden straw color with thin head. Watery feel on the tongue and there’s really not much flavor for a wheat beer. Probably better than 15th percentile, but not much. djones (116), Michigan, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 8, 2008 Sub-par wheat beer. Bearly holds any wheat flavors or citrus. Not notice of honey. Light, crisp on the tongue. Some hop elements and a touch of sweetness, but pretty meak. BeerFanDan17 (621), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Sep 4, 2008 Extremely average for a wheat. I was hoping for more honey infusion, but was dissapointed. Smooth for a summer beer, but not much girth. rcweir (121), Massachusetts, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 3, 2008 Brilliant light gold with good white head. Wheat aroma. Light mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, some residual sweetness. Light and refreshing. joshiez (48), USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 2, 2008 A very light tasty beer. It isn’t overpowering, isn’t bitter or too sweet. I think this is a great beer for a kegger....you don’t care how it tastes, you just want to drink more......not bad! noncaloric (616), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 1, 2008 On tap, pint glass. Clear, pale gold, moderate white head, but when it’s gone, it’s gone. Faint, almost nonexistent floral honey aroma. Flavor begins with the same sweet sensation, then turns to a dry, biscuity finish. On the first sip, it’s a stale biscuit, thereafter inoffensive. Crisp but otherwise watery mouthfeel. Mostly harmless. holdenn (1443), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Another one I thought I had rated before. I’ve just had Leine’s too many times to not rate it. This was one of the samples after the Miller Brewery Tour. Pours a hazed yellow with a creamy white head. Nose of lemons, wheat, maybe honey. A lot sweeter than I remembered. I mean a lot. Grains, wheat, lemons, a little honey and whatever malts are making this overly sweet. Yikes, I enjoyed a fresh high life over this one.
