Bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a decent white head that fades some. The taste is of wheat, some honey and is a little sweet. The aroma is much the same. Pretty refreshing and easy to drink. For the price, this is a pretty nice beer that is great to have on a hot day.

Was impressed with this honey weiss beer. The aroma has a slight hint of honey but not overpowering. flavor was a light sweetness. It had a medium body, golden texture and a minimal head. Plus a good after taste. Overall a good beer! ,

Leinies Honey Weiss is a fantastic wheat beer, that isn’t extremely filling. It pours with a nice golden color with a small head. My only complaint about this beer is that it doesn’t have more of a honey taste to it.

Although the beer appeared thin and weak looking in the glass, I did notice a hint of honey in the aroma. Unfortunately this didn’t carry over into the flavor, which was weak to almost non-existant. I don’t really mean to knock the folks at Leinenkugels, but the few beers I have tried have been disappointing. These guys seem to be going for the Micro-beer marketing with all the special attention to the beer. I guess they didn’t realize that their beer is anything but special. Ho-hum, next.

From a bottle, this poured a light yellow with bot much white head and little lacing. Nose was very mild with hints of wheat, and mouthfeel watery. Flavor is a little sweet and the finish is dry. Bland to say the least.

I have to admit that I liked this beer, but only because it was refreshing and not truly a beer in my opinion. I mean I can see myself setting one of these on my night stand and waking up in the middle of the night with a dry mouth and quenching my thirst with this and not even noticing it wasn’t water. Still, it doesn’t fail at everything; it’s hard to get a beer to taste so close to water as this, so, kudos?

(Rating #1779)

Well, this is the first new beer I have rated in about a month and a half and I’m not impressed. Pours out a pale yellow with a whimpy white head to it. Aroma is weak and barely noticeable, just a general sweetness to it. Taste is again very bland, the wheat comes through finally but this beer is too sweet, bleh. The sad thing is, the sweetness doesn’t even taste like real honey it tastes artificial and manufactured.
