Also some wheat and malts aromas. Medium bodied. Lively carbonation. Nice crispy dry finish - The best part of this beer. AdamSkillin (376), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 22, 2008 A disappointment, as I had remembered this as one of the first "good beers" I had ever had when a friend used to bring it back from Wisconsin for my dad. Now that you can get it here in NJ, I had to find out if it was any good in light of my current, slightly more experienced palate and it’s a little watery and has a definite adjunct flavor. I’d grab it over a macro-garbage brew any day, but I won’t buy it again. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Apr 21, 2008 12 oz bottle from local Food Lion. Pours dead clear light straw with a rocky head that dissipates rapidly. Grainy aroma of sweet corn, a bit of DMS, no hops, maybe a bit of honey. Medium slick mouthfeel well carbonated. Some malt and corn sweetness in the flavor with no hop flavor. A touch of honey in the finish? I struggle to get any wheat out of this beer at all. This could be a good beer served freezing cold after a long day of cutting grass. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 11/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Pours like a soda, with lots of carbonation and a thin, fizzy head. Don’t let the weiss name fool you, it tastes like a lager and just the slightest bit of honey. Not much in the aftertaste and a harsh, fizzy mouthfeel. I like a lot of Leinenkugel’s stuff, but was rather disappointed in this one. To truly appreciate the Honey Weiss, serve ice cold in a glass from the bottle. hopson (595), Williamsville, New York, USA

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Pale yellow with medium soapy head. Semi-skunky aroma of corn and very light honey. Tastes of corn and cardboard. Astringent and bland. Wheat Ale? Honey Weiss? Tasted more like a pale lager to me.
