There is so much hype for this beer and so far it seems undeserving .........I’ll keep trying them though. NeoHippie2 (173), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 6, 2008 Ive been a fan of leinenkugel brews, but i must say that this one truly disappointed me. There’s absolutely nothing to it. Pours a clear yellow/straw color that looks pretty but that is pretty much where the good things about this beer stop. Small white head. There’s absolutely no honey character to this beer at all and no hop character to speak of either. It is ultimately very dull and bland. The flavor isnt awful but i expect more from a leinenkugel. chandler0201 (351), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 6, 2008 I was greatly disappointed in this beer after having their Summer Wheat. The aroma was very muted, and the flavor was a combination of a Bud Light and Miller Light, in other words, it tasted like basically nothing. Jblauvs (597), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 28, 2008 This is a pretty beer, bright straw in color with a white head (not much lacing however). Not much in the aroma, some maltiness and yeast, but no hops and no honey. The flavor is nice, sweet and then yeasty with that wheat aftertaste. This is a decent summer beer, good at a picnic, a ballgame or the golf course GlenVargas (120), El Paso, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 26, 2008 Sure, Leinenkugels Honey Weiss isn’t even the best wheat beer, a style that usually stinks anyway, but it’s still better than any of the imitation hefes/weisses that seem to be flooding the market right now. This beer doesn’t have any of the offensive, lemony, buttery sickly sweetness of other Blue Moon-types either. So, although Leinenkugels Honey Weiss is pretty boring in terms of taste, it’s still a great deal more drinkable than any widely distributed beer that claims to be "honey" or "weiss." bigrond (1054), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 24, 2008 this beer wasn’t very good. At least this company is constant. I didn’t care for any of them. This one was the least offensive.
