Leinenkugels Honey Weiss Bier

Bottle. Golden honey-colored with a fluffy white head that dissipated quickly but, left a good lacing on the glass. Almost no aroma. Tart flavor with honey undertones but, very little wheat flavor. Kind of dry mouthfeel. I might try this again but, I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Bottle; aroma was very light of honey, fruit and wheat. Taste was similar; just bland in every way. Was there honey in the flavor?; I couldn’t tell. Liked their sunset much better. Drinkable at best.

Drinkable but not preferred. You have to give them credit for trying new things.

Very average as my rating shows. Pours a clear gold almost headless. Nose of honey, corn, light malt notes. Flavor is similar with a little more sweetness than I prefer. Thin overly carbonated.

Served cold from bottle. Pale, gold, very slight aroma. The honey is barely there. This is really not that great a beer.

hard to go wrong with Leinenkugles. the Honey is not that strong. Good or bad (?) a nice touch for something different.

tap. better than Miller or Budweiser by a long shot, but not all that great. not enough character, either in the sweetness or aromatic categories, to warrant special attention. Liked the hint of honey, liked that it poured a nice tall head.

decent beer. i was a little disappointed after the hype i had heard about it. can taste the honey. light.
