There isn’t much honey flavor in it at all, but there is some sweetness present in the tasting. Better from the tap than in a bottle for some reason. Pours a pale yellow. Not much wheat in it either -- not cloudy like most Weiss beers. TChrome (1299), Bedford, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 3, 2007 Beer pours fizzy, golden yellow color with a minimally retained egg white head. Aroma is benign with a very light honey note and no wheat notes tht I am able to detect. Flavor is likewise, pretty flavorless with a light sweet flavor. Frankly a very boring beer with few redeeming qualities. On the plus side it does not have any great offensive qualities, either. ph0tik (71), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 31, 2007 A light yellow, much like American style lagers. No smell of honey, in fact almost no smell at all. Decent sweetness but a somewhat odd finish, almost chemical-y. Not something to look for in the future but I bet it is better on tap. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 31, 2007 Pours a sparkling yellow with a frothy white head that laces decently. The nose is sweet wheat, light honey and straw, while the mouthfeel is light, thin. lively and dry (almost chalky). The flavor is a straight-forward, effervescent and mildly sweet wheat with little more going on here. Dry and almost plastic-like in the aftertaste. Not much here to get excited about, but I prefer it to the other clear, yellow beers distributed by SABMiller. jarlbartar (88), Janesville, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 27, 2007 Pours a sparkly golden with a good 2 finger white head. Aroma of light malts and flowery hops. Taste of sweet malts, no honey noted. Carbonation was very good and aftertaste was nice and clean. Very inoffensive and simple. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 25, 2007 Updated: Jul 28, 2007Pours light yellow with short lasting white head. Looks like a light lager basically. Smell is light but slight honey and malt. Taste is decent, crisp from the moderately high carbonation, and mildly sweet from the honey and lingers for just a bit in the after taste along with just a touch of wheatiness. This doesn’t taste bad by any means, but is very light and simple. A good replacement for a cheap lager, and it is easy to drink, crisp and refreshing, but nothing to blow you away. cbkschubert (2003), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

Light spotty lacing. Light, fine carbonation. Aroma is honey and light grain. Flavor is sweet honey and malt. Light body. Not bad. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 20, 2007 One of my wife’s favorite beers, so there’s always some around. I really don’t get a lot of honey on the nose or palate at all. A hint of wheat and corn. Just a hint of sweetness. Refreshing, but very unspectacular.
