I wouldn’t want one every day, not by any means, but as a touch of something sweet, it’s a dessert beer in the way that Kir follows up a continental dinner. It tastes of biscuity honey, no surprise there, pleasantly offset with a bit of vanilla. It could use more alcohol and hops, but hell, for what you’re getting it’s not bad. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 4, 2007 Yella, big foamy head. Grainy, toasty aroma. The biggest flavor is kind of a stale note, and then some grainy, bready flavors. Maybe a touch of honey, or maybe I’m just making that up because I read the word "honey" on the label. But really, the stale, cardboardy flavor over rides everything. smithn2283 (12), waterloo, Iowa, USA
| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Feb 3, 2007 I hated this beer, I would rather drink busch light than this swill. Bought it on a night when I just wanted to have a few drinks with the boys and had to throw it away due to revolting smell and flavor. Capa (995), Yokosuka, Japan

You can make out the honey sweetness in the aroma, but it’s not as powerful as I expected. Corn is also present in the aroma. The aroma is closer to a Miller Lite than any wheat beer I’ve ever had. It tastes like it smells, which is dissapointing to say the least. Slightly sweet, but I don’t know if I’d call it honey. And just like the aroma it tastes more like a Miller Lite than a wheat. Nope, not going here again. Anglofile (135), Piti, Guam

It has a transparent light lemon yellow body that left very little lacing. You can smell the honey flavor in its aroma. Its flavor is nice with a little mild honey flavor to it. It is initially smooth and stays that way through the finish. Has too much essence of a light beer. Overall, it was a nice beer to drink, but in this category I probably wouldn’t prefer it to others. Those Wisconson people are always a little weird anyhow; you have to watch out for them.

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 15, 2007 Pours a clear gold color with half an inch of white foam. Surprisingly little lacing. If there’s an aroma, and I’m not sure there is, I couldn’t find it.
Bland but somewhat sweet. Calling the light sweetness ’honey’ however may be a stretch. No other character whatsoever. Light body, watery finish. Smooth and clean, yes, but defeinately lacking something. Anything.
Lightly sweetened fluff.
