This was a good beer for an American weissbier. It’s a yellow-golden color with a small head. It’s got some wheat in it with a mild flavor. It’s not as good as the real thing, but it’s not bad either.

clear yellow gold color, small white head, some lace. light airy nose, note of wheat. there might be a touch of flavor here, perhaps a touch of wheat, but i shouldn’t have to work so hard to find it. light bodied, dry finish. much too mild, but at least not too sweet. bland. sample case from sam’s club in matteson.

Draft at the Mousetrap. Clear yellow brew with a rich white head.Straw aroma with hints of sour in the nose. Fizzy lager carb on the tounge.

12oz bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a clear to slightly cloudy dark golden color with a thin white head that settles quickly and does not lace the glass. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of honey, caramel, grass, ripe fresh fruit, some hints of spice. Flavor is much of the same with notes of honey, spice, caramel, grass, ripe fruit. Generally light body and watery. No complex with a quick uninteresting finish.

Thin head, light crisp taste, but a bit weak, like a commercial "light" beer, finishes with a slight bitterness, no "honey" taste or smell noted.

Clear and golden in color with a light fizzy sort of head which disappears quickly. The honey smell is a treat for the nose but the taste is bland and disappointing.

TAP, BOTTLE: Gold/yellow pour, minimal aroma, taste is slight fruit and honey, mild malt. A little fizzy. Decent option on a hot summer day, but not a lot of character here.
