jerrytimes (8), Roseville, Michigan, USA does not count Aug 4, 2008 One of the few light beers out there that I think are worth every drop. Pours a light yellow with a small head. Has a great crisp taste. General_Gao (2434), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 13, 2008 "The Pride of Chippewa Falls" the bottle says. Yes, I assure you. The aroma was of corn and other, perhaps less reputable, cereal grains. There was also quite a bit of hay in the nose. Poured a clear pale yellow color with a fluffy white head that retained its height fairly well. Light bodied and delicately sweet. Tasted pretty much the same as it smelled with the addition of a hint of apple. Blah. Soonah (481), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Jun 16, 2008 Poured clear into a shaker. The head was the fizzy, white one-finger tall variety. Lots of effervescent bubbles streaming to the top. The aroma was light malt & barley with some corny sweetness to it. The flavor was better with malt, corn and some dryness that I wouldn’t dare attribute to hops, but something balanced the back end out. Thin, watery mouthfeel. pointer11 (36), Wisconsin, USA Feb 14, 2008 Pale yellow color with a very thin head. Not too much for flavor or aroma. Light.Crisp. SavageElvis (131), Savage, Minnesota, USA Nov 9, 2007 A very nice light beer. Nice golden color with sweet malt aroma and flavor. Small head. Good mouth feel and not overly carbonated. No lacing to speak of but this is a light beer with some substance. I think it’s an A+ for the style.
