Leinenkugels Maple Brown

This beer smelled wonderfully on a crisp fall day. Smells of syrup and malt, makes me hungry for flapjacks just thinking about it. Problem: Too much syrup in the mix makes it unnecessarily sweet. If LK would’ve brewed this like they did Honey Weisse, it’d have been much, much better -- and people would have demanded a lot more of it! Unfortunately the syrup is too over the top.

First off, this smells like heaven. Its almost a Fall/Winter tradition to pick some of this stuff up, even though I don’t particularly like it. (My father usually buys) This is way to sweet for a beer almost like they didn’t get the syrup mixed very well with the beer and hops. This would score a lot less if it didn’t smell and look so damn good.

Nutty, rich caramel, beer. I bit sweet for me if they could tone that done this would really be great.

I love Leinenkugel’s, but I hate this beer. One of the worst beers ever. It looks good, but it smells and tastes like bad watered-down maple syrup. I’m not a big maple fan, but even if I was, this is a bad combination.

When I started drinking this, I instantly thought of IHOP. With their great pancakes....mmmm pancakes, uh, anyway if you like maple syurp and don’t have any, this beer can be poured over the top. If you don’t like maple syurp-DON’T buy this beer! And as you can tell I don’t dig on the maple syurp, i’m more of a butter pecan fan.

nothing special flavor was ok just had a hard time finding the maple in this one could have been an old bottle this one had dust on it at the liquor store but i thought i would be daring.have to put it in the middle of the road.there are better out there shop around

Worse beer I have ever had. Nearly puked after drinking it. It was so bad a dumped out a six pack of it.

Very average and over par.
