Rich tasting with a golden brown color and a sweet malty aroma. Strong crisp flavor, mostly on the sweet side, with prevalent honey notes. Smooth, slightly bitter finish. Pretty good for a macro lager.

Small white frothy head. Clear amber/gold color. Aroma is sweet and what I consider to be bock-like... white wine or something. Taste is kind of blah, but it sure brings back college memories. Certainly nothing offensive in it though. A little bit of sweetness, a little bit of hops.

Bottle. Pale amber color with a thin white head. Clean, slightly sweet lager aroma. Good malt flavors with a little sweetness and just enough hoppiness to balance it out. Not overly carbonated. Really easy drinker. This is my favorite Leinie. Probably the best cheap American lager I’ve drank. Quality use of domestic malt and hops. I hope Miller doesn’t fu@# it up.

This is a good macro. Some evidence of malt and hops in flavor. Little hop bitterness. Corny aroma. A slightly orange golden color with a small soapy head. Pretty fizzy. One of Leinie’s better offerings.

My favorite beer of all time. I can no longer get it in Kansas, and I miss it. Great caramel color, pleasant aroma, and prefect bitter taste. Fantastic, especially when sampled at the brewery.

Gold Coloring. White Head. Malt...Hops... I’d rack her half a point above swill beer... Didn’t do anything for me.

Very good offer from Leinenkugels. Good American macro flavor with no skunkiness.

Great Great Beer. Hoppy, good flavor, solid beer. Leinie Northwoods is a beer I’ve wanted to sample for a very long time. Reminds me allot of the flavor of the original pre-Miller Leinenkugels I used to drink. Sweet, big flavor, good hops, smooth and definitely drinkable. Would cellar this one if Miller would sell it here in Missouri. Slikwily thank you for making this beer available to me.
