The mild aroma was malty and mild dirty socks. The semi-thick crisp and clean mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a malt dough base that came through in its finish. The mild flavor contained notes of malt and dough. uglyblond1 (174), Nebraska, USA

The flavor is just a bit too sweet, but this one is very smooth and drinkable. Not complex, not a beer to savor, this one is just crisp refreshing sturdy American lager. No bad aftertaste, finish is smooth but not memorable. ehhdayton (1115), USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2006 Aroma has some low hints of malt but overall a grainy aroma is most prevalent. The color is golden with a small white head of very short duration. The taste has some hop but overall is grainy. keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA

It looks and smells like a normal American lager (read: macro) but has a stronger lager flavor. That is, it’s grassy and grainy smelling. It’s drinkable, but I usually pass when I see it. incutrav (576), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | May 3, 2006 A true northwoods flavor, whatever that means though. Nothin to wild about this brew, but i typically will buy a lienie tackle box a few times a year, and these mix in just fine. Quite smooth, good color and tasty going down jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 12, 2006 Light brown, caramel yellow with short-lived white head. Looks appetizing. Smell is faint macro, sweet malt. Taste is likewise quite sweet and light. Doesn’t live up to its appearance. Perhaps, a notch better than your run-of-the-mill macro lager, but nothing more. I could take it or leave it. JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA
