Bottle poured a nice amber with a great head and super lacing!
Grassy aroma.
Watery body, mild hop and malt with a bit of a bitter finish. jollyraider (252), Los Angeles, California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 29, 2005 Bottled. Pours a more substantial amber body than you’d expect for this style. Head is big and thick, dwindles to sudsiness. Not too much aroma beyond the basic "beer" smell, maybe a touch staled. Taste is nicely malty, as a matter of fact. A very light peppery hop is there just to keep it from getting too sweet. It’s likely the best American pale lager I’ll have had, though I know that’s not saying too much. Still, it was on sale for $9 a 12-er, making it a great beer for the money. Dorqui (1361), Brescia, Italy

Extremely fizzy and bubbly. Optimal aspect. Determined scent but not too much strongly. Fresh with notes of malt and it yields sour. Medium body with a full and delicate taste. Good persistence. Rather average in every way witha bit too much carbonation. Pale, light and easy to drink if cold. OK beer. FROTHINGSLOSH (2038), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a straw yellow color with a large white head. The aroma is light and has sour malt and a hint of spice. The flavor is sour, mild hop and malt and fairly sweet on the finish. Overall a fairly blah lager.
