Dec 23, 2008 Orange/amber pour with a small off-white head. Musty malt aroma. Flavor is somewhat sharp: malty with an earthy note and some sugar. Medium bodied. Not bad. One of their better offerings.

Dec 18, 2008 Nice flavor of caramel malt followed at first by a sort of sour corn aroma that went away to just the caramel. A copper pour with very little off white head and lace. Flavor caramel malt with a semi sweetness that really make this a pretty decent drinker. Carbonation and mouthfeel are pretty solid as well.

Nov 28, 2008 12oz bottle. expires 12/29/08. Pours a dark golden trying to be amber in color. Small foamy white head quickly diminishes into a collar. Aromas of sweet caramel malts. Flavors are about the same, no hops, sweet caramel malts, thats about it. Its got that sweet macro taste to it.

Nov 27, 2008 From a 12 oz. bottle. Not very good. Kind of a bland version of an Oktoberfest beer. Not dark or rich enough to be a good example of this variety.

Nov 21, 2008 Pours with three finger white head that fades quickly leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light malty nose. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor is malty, hints of caramel, typical Oktoberfest. $1.75 for a 12oz from Barb’s Beer Emporium Concord, NH.

<b>9/26/2007</b>: Leinenkugel’s Octoberfest is golden in color with a thick, dense, foamy off-white head. The aroma is laden with pale malts and sweet, yet grainy at the same time. The flavor is sweet and filled with extra pale malt. Overall all this beer is just too light to be taken seriously as an Oktoberfest.

Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice copper color with a decent beige head that slowly fades. Taste is of caramel, roasted malt and hops. Fairly sweet and kind of bitter. Has a good mouthfeel to it and a nice aftertaste. Aroma is the same as the taste. Very easy to drink and inexpensive. I wouldn’t mind having this again.
