| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Oct 22, 2008 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: It has a light amber color with very good clarity. It builds up a thick creamy head which is off white in color. The head has great retention and makes lots of slick lacing.
Smell: The aroma has lots of leafy hops with sweet caramel and hints of toasted grain.
Taste/Mouth feel: It has a mildly sweet buttery malt with some light toasted grain, mild caramel notes and a touch of spicy and floral hops. The palate has a slightly thin, slick and smooth texture with soft carbonation and a medium body.
Notes: Overall it’s a nice easy drinking but average Oktoberfest.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 22, 2008 Pours golden amber with crystal clarity and lively off white head. Great caramel malty aroma. Flavor is a nice malty caramel, but it is quickly overpowered with a metallic hoppiness. One of the best o-fest aromas I’ve come across, but the flavor just doesn’t hold up. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 22, 2008 Clear copper with a white head. Mild aroma is spicy, malty sweet caramel. Medium body. Decent flavor is mildly sweet caramel with pale malt grist. Not bad. tedovertu (260), Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA

Watered down and skunky in flavor. Light amber color with small head. Take a good Oktoberfest and add 50% water and there you have it. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Poured an attractive amber/copper color with a nice white head that lasted a while. The aroma was somewhat malty, but nothing really stood out. The flavor was quite mediocre. There was nothing really offensive about this beer, but nothing memorable either. Average brew. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Pours with a nice foamy head...amber in color, but very clear, like it’s seen plenty of filtering.
Nice smell of seasonal spices most Oktoberfest brews are known for.
It’s a smooth, easy to drink beer, with little to no bitterness in the finish.
Not the best beer I’ve ever had, but far from the worst...very average.
