| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 18, 2008 Not bad. Bottle pours a dark orange-amber, very nice fluffy head, good retention and lacing. Nose is very malty, with slight cinnamon and nutmeg. Tastes of faint cinnamon, ginger, heavy dark malts, a touch of pumpkin spice and biscuit. Not one of the better Oktoberfests, but good for a more widely available brew. jb (1053), Rochester, New York, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 16, 2008 Pours light brown with small but frothy head. Aroma is a bit on the grainy side with malt and hop character minimal. Flavor is sweet at first sip, but subsides into astringency. Malt character is evident but not prevalent. Palate is thin to medium and finishes clean. wcampbell (582), Central, South Carolina, USA
