Commercial Description:
A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

Clear copper color pour with a small foamy head that lasts a while. Aroma and flavor of caramel malt and a hint of spice. Average carbonation. Nothing bad, but nothing really great here either.

Pours a copper orange color with practically no head. Aroma is caramel, malt, and spice. Flavor is a bitter malty spaice with a very faint caramel flavor. Not very impressive.

Bottle… Crystal clear amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head… gone in a flash. Toffee and caramel aroma with a note of singed sugar. Medium to full-bodied with an almost chewy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Well-balanced. Nice, malty caramelized flavors. Crisp, lightly sweet finish.

Wow this is just not right. Bizarre and stank aroma leads to a taste that is overly malty and funky. Just not riight. skip it if you can.

I have been tasting various Octoberfest beers. This is not one of the top beers. The beer is just ordinary. The Sam Adams product has set the bar for America Octoberfest beverages. This micro brewery is advertising on the radio heavily with Steve Zabane. I think they need to work on this beer more to make it a special experience.

not worth buying, first time I saw this beer, gave it a try, that’s it....better than bud, but that’s not saying much!

KSBF 08 - I almost bought a 6-pack of this to try...glad I caught it at a beerfest instead. Light gold color and the flavor of sweet candied cardboard. Cloying. Not good at all.
