Commercial Description:
A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

12oz bottle. Pours a malty looking golden amber with a frothy head. Light pleasant malt aroma with a bit of grain. The flavor has some very gentle malt and a light sweetness. There is just a touch of earthy hop and grain as well. Decent lasting after taste. The body is light-medium. Over all, this is drinkable, but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours an orange/copper with about a finger of sudsy head. Aromas are sweet malt without much other complexity. Flavor is sweet caramel with a spicy finish. Taste is surprisingly full and full of spiciness. Much better than I expected. Maybe it’s just getting on to fall and I’m over-ready.

Everything about this beer is just ok. The aroma, flavor appearance. Drinkable, but not memorable.

Bottle. Not a good Oktoberfest. Tinny mettalic aroma with a hint of bland malt. Golden amber in appearance with a thin soapy off-white head. Flavor is bland, stale. Tastes like you’re drinking it out of an old rusty bucket. Fizzy with some dry lingering flavors from the malt.

Bottle from Party Source. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Market Square Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Pours a pleasant light copper with a faint thin white head. Kind of a neutral aroma with some ripening vegetables. Flavor has some hints of caramel sweetness, some yams, a bit of brown sugar. Slightly metallic mouthfeel. Overall, a pleasant diversion.

Poured an orangeish hue with a big but light head. Aroma is barely there, but smells like a Maerzen/Oktoberfest. More carbonated than the traditional style. Really not bad for the style, but I don’t know if I really consider this style great. Goes good with the cooler weather, though.

Orangish hued amber pour with a big foamy off white head. Aroma is of sweet caramelized malts, and a hint of black tea. lots and lots of carbonation. The hops are mild, the finish is a sloppy, lingering with a bit of an aftertaste. The whole flavor as a bit of a tin-ish taint. An ok beer.
