Very slight sweet malty aroma that was hard to pick up. Had an odd carbonated feel on the tongue to start A smooth banana malt flavor with an awkward medium thick sweet aftertaste. chrissy (122), Connecticut, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 9, 2008 *Ouchie* Flat pour color and body similar to iced tea with very little aroma. Thin on the roasted malts and overall flavor as well. Maybe this would be better if enjoyed in Chicago beer garden on a crisp September night. beerbill (1962), Laurel, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 9, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear amber with a thin-moderate off-white head that lasted through mid glass and left spotty lace. No aroma to speak of. Even as the beer warms, I can’t seem to pick up anything. The flavor is pleasant but very mild with some light malt up front with no hops to speak of. Very easy to drink, but then again, so is a bottle of water. Nothing wrong with this beer or foul tasting, its just extremely subdued. nuplastikk (1205), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 8, 2008 12oz bottle. Orange-brown colored, filtered and transparent. Pretty decent Oktoberfest, would do better in a blind tasting, but being SAB is gonna open you up to some harsh criticism, perhaps justifiably so. The flavor profile is alright for the style, but the beer just fades on you into a watery finish. Crisp mild balancing hops hold the beer together. Not great, but certainly not bad either. mmmbeer (761), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 8, 2008 12 oz. bottle served in shaker- Ahhh, autumn... the beginning of cooler nights, hunting, Brett Farve chucking the ball for the Pack- ERRR-Brett’s gone, but at least it’s still time for Leinie and beer brats! Poured transparent light copper, huge 3 finger frothy head off white in color formed and slowly crept away. Aroma consisting of light notes of caramel, molasses, and leaves. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is omnipresent, holds up well in the middle, a few zesty hops on the finish. Great for screaming and throwing at the TV as Rodgers throws interception after interception this season... GO PACK GO!!! Bella68 (38), Alabama, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 8, 2008 Bottle, concentrated, golden color, with a beautiful, creamy beige foam. I can actually taste a caramel-like flavor, however, it is light and kinda watery to taste. ShawnMalloy (120), Auburn, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 7, 2008 Not much aroma. Pours an orange amber color. Looks okay. The consistency is just too too thin. There’s barely any body whatsoever. It hints at being an oktoberfest. There’s notes of a better beer in there somewhere, but there’s just not enough to it for it to be considered GOOD. As far as what LK distributes in this area (central MA), steer clear of any LK product that isn’t Sunset Wheat.
