| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Appearance: Pours a light amber body with a thin, white head.
Smell: Well, whaddya know? It smells just like a poor apple cider. Let me verify this with a re-sniff. Yep, poor apple cider.
Taste: Light bready maltiness with a hint of caramel and sweetness. Notes of apple and, regrettably, vegetables. Very mild bitterness on the sweetish finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A poor representation of the style, and an outright disappointing beer. browncow (5), Kentucky, USA does not count | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Sep 29, 2007 nice, dark golden color, very little head. very malty. not a great representation of an oktoberfest beer. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Pours a medium clean copper and has a small quickly fading head. Aroma is sourish malts, grains, mild hops. Flavor is a little bigger on the malt. Also hints of tartness. Overall not too bad. Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Pours a clear amber-orange with a loose, frothy, beige head that diminishes to a fizzy cap of bubbles. The aroma is fruity and lightly bready with a slightly "off" adjunct note. Light-bodied and grainy with an astringent and faintly metallic finish. The flavor is toasted, bready malt with a very dry finish. Not bad, but not one I’ll drink again. Soonah (931), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Poured a clear amber with a scant, barely off-white head. The aroma was thin, but what came through was malt, yeast, and a sweetness that had some borderline corn notes to it. The flavor continued where the simplistic aroma left off. Sweetness (is that malt or is it corn?) followed by paper thin hoppiness. Easy going down if a bit unexciting. LinusStick (1844), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 25, 2007 I’m really going against the grain on this one, but this was one tasty beer that was hitting on a lot of cylinders. Pour was beautiful. Dark brown with a whopping two finger head. Aroma was very fresh-smelled like it was just poured by a big busted blond German girl with an oompah band playing in the background. Sweet malt and caramel are heavy on the aroma aw well as the taste. Taste was a little weaker than the aroma but it would be hard to match it.All in all a great O/M. joverton85 (80), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA
