Flavor brighter than expected, slightly acid. Not a textbook oktoberfest. Experience is smooth, with plenty of enjoyment to offer for a budget brew. cheapdark (2048), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 17, 2007 Bready yeasty arome, very little same old beer smells. has a tinge of alky on the olfactory. Slightly darker than the ubiquitous pale yellow Americana lager. Thick off white creamy head. Has a nice rolling carbonation that appears visually appealing. Good creamy carbonation on the palate. Decent slight octoberfest feel. Good manners, odd processed grassy flavors. Very little bitterness. Typical easy to drink lager impressions. One of the better less offensive fests I’ve had. Finish is well behaved but there is a tad of industrial manufactured palate that hangs for a while. hogan873 (334), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 14, 2007 Clear honey colored brew with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is somewhat slight with notes of caramel and malt. The sweetness is there in the beginning as you drink, then it tapers off to a slight tart fruit. Finishes clean. A decent Octoberfest.
