Aroma of sweet grainy malt, toffee, and bready lager yeast. Taste is slightly metallic, sweet, and sticky caramel. Mouthfeel is full bodied, slightly sticky with lush, slight overcarbonation. Didn’t care for this one. A bit too sticky and artificial tasting. FreeFour (17), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 9, 2007 Amber bodied, frothy white headed, flavorful malts with a nice finish. Good for an American macrobrew...more hops than the "normal commercial" beers, I’d put it beside some Samuel Adams brews because of that. Bottle says "brewed in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin by 73 people who care." Well thanks, guys. SSSteve (2097), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 7, 2007 Red with no head by the the it got back to my table. Wet aroma with some amberish malts. The palate starts thin and gets a bit thicker but ends watery again. The flavor is typical ameri an octoberfest but has some strange hop bitternes at the end. Maybe a little nut n there. cbreville (5), Thornton, Colorado, USA does not count | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2007 I give this beer props for being more flavorful than beers produced by most large American breweries. I drank this side-by-side with a Beck’s Octoberfest. I wouldn’t put it on the same level as German Oktoberfests, but would be hard pressed to find a better, more flavorful beer for around $6.00 a six-pack. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

I purchased a 6 pac and had a bottle. I was not impressed, very little flavor and tasted watered down. Guerde (710), Welcome, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 25, 2007 (on tap) Pours amber with a white head. Aroma only contained what smelled like a cheap apple cider. Taste was just a little malty sweet, with a wheaty finish.
