Pours a transparent golden-orange with a small white head that fades quickly. Watery caramel builds to a slightly sugary middle. Moderate grassy finish. Drinkable, but nothing special about this one. hero27 (19), Iowa, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 12, 2006 Pours a somewhat dark (yet basically clear) amber color. Fairly thin head even with a vigorous pour, and dies down quickly to basically nothing, however leaves a nice white lacing on the glass.
Light and grainy aroma...nothing too overwhelming but not offensive.
A very bready sweetness followed by a somewhat bitter taste of hops. Pretty average.
Certainly won’t blow you away. A light to moderate body, but it didn’t do much for me.
You could pour a few of these down the hatch fairly effortlessly...however I’m not so sure you’d want to.
Not too much to complain about, but certainly no overwhelmingly good traits. Leinenkugel’s has much better styles, but go ahead and try this one for something different. tranum (34), delafield, Wisconsin, USA

Sligly bitter but smooth. A little caramel in there, kinda cross of the BBD and the Creamy Dark. Tasty malts help provide this puppy with a great color.... thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 24, 2006 This bottled brew from Indianapolis for $1.09 poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a transparent softly carbonated golden brown colored body. Its aroma was mild with malty doughy notes. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish with a mild caramel malt aftertaste. The flavor contained mild malty doughy notes with a slight hint of caramel. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 7, 2006 tried in bottle, decent taste, again the carbonation almost too much, makes it hard to take down...caramel malt a good call here, but could have been worked with to make a more pleasing brew hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 19, 2006 Bottle. Small off-white fizzy head that mostly diminished, minimal lacing, carbonated, transparent, and an orange hue. Sweet malty, caramel and hoppy nose and ditto for the flavor. Has a clean finish. Tingly palate. Light body. JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA
