| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 6, 2009 Picked up a bottle figuring I’d give it a try. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin white head. Smells of caramel and lightly spicy. Tastes of caramel and lightly spicy. Pretty run of the mill and watery but with a pleasant enough lightly sweet finish. CanIHave4Beers (917), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Pours a translucent light orange color with a big fluffy head that leaves a bunch of lace. The aroma is a little skunky and grainy, and generally well balanced between roasty malt and noble hops, all of this is of course muted remarkably. The flavor is nutty and mildly roasty and well balanced with a bit of noble hops. Everything is smooth and muted though. Almost nothing in this beer is offensive; there just isn’t quite enough of anything. The palate is a little watery. It’s ok. BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA

I wonder if Miller will let loose a little more and let them brew some fuller beers? freekyp (903), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Boring rendition of one of my favorite styles. Does not have the malt umph necessary to be a top player. Pours a clear copper with a smallish quickly dissipating white head. Aroma shows a little caramel malt and some apple overtones. Flavor is lightly malty with a tart noble twang that fades quickly. Just alright. roder60 (1033), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 29, 2009 Pours a clear orange copper color with medium fizzy offwhite head. Aroma is stale corny sweetness and a slight nuttiness. Flavor is very thin, slight grassiness, sweet caramel, slight apple fruitiness and a stale cardboard finish. Overall, not very good. drowland (1430), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Pretty solid Oktoberfest brew. Got a pony keg of it to split for Ok-tuba-fest last year with my studio at school - AWESOME. Narnad (721), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 16, 2009 Pours a clear dark amber/copper color with a modest white head that fades down fairly quickly. Aroma has a light Munich malt note, light apple and cherry fruitiness. Flavor has a decent amount of malt, a light apple sweetness and a light nutty note with a metallic ending. Overall a decent brew but not one that really exemplifies the style as the metallic ending detracts from the flavor.
