Commercial Description:
A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

Colour... amber with a frothy white head. Nose... mild malt and grain with some light caramel and beeswax. Palate... generous malt, honey, grain, some burnt caramel and a medium length grainy finish.

Picked up a bottle figuring I’d give it a try. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin white head. Smells of caramel and lightly spicy. Tastes of caramel and lightly spicy. Pretty run of the mill and watery but with a pleasant enough lightly sweet finish.

Pours a translucent light orange color with a big fluffy head that leaves a bunch of lace. The aroma is a little skunky and grainy, and generally well balanced between roasty malt and noble hops, all of this is of course muted remarkably. The flavor is nutty and mildly roasty and well balanced with a bit of noble hops. Everything is smooth and muted though. Almost nothing in this beer is offensive; there just isn’t quite enough of anything. The palate is a little watery. It’s ok.

Not to bad, kind of a watered down version but drinkable. I wonder if Miller will let loose a little more and let them brew some fuller beers?

Boring rendition of one of my favorite styles. Does not have the malt umph necessary to be a top player. Pours a clear copper with a smallish quickly dissipating white head. Aroma shows a little caramel malt and some apple overtones. Flavor is lightly malty with a tart noble twang that fades quickly. Just alright.

Pours a clear orange copper color with medium fizzy offwhite head. Aroma is stale corny sweetness and a slight nuttiness. Flavor is very thin, slight grassiness, sweet caramel, slight apple fruitiness and a stale cardboard finish. Overall, not very good.

Pretty solid Oktoberfest brew. Got a pony keg of it to split for Ok-tuba-fest last year with my studio at school - AWESOME.

Pours a clear dark amber/copper color with a modest white head that fades down fairly quickly. Aroma has a light Munich malt note, light apple and cherry fruitiness. Flavor has a decent amount of malt, a light apple sweetness and a light nutty note with a metallic ending. Overall a decent brew but not one that really exemplifies the style as the metallic ending detracts from the flavor.
