For a pale lager brewed by Miller this is not bad, especially for the price, usually. An actual aroma of light malts and hops. Some taste; light, crisp, a very mild hop bite. I have had worse.

a better choice than a budweiser, if you wanna pay the price for it. i could probably get double the beer if i went with bud, but sometimes, you just gotta choose on taste.

As with music reviewers, most people completely ignore context when reviewing beer. Not every record can be/should be Dylan. Not every beer has got to be the best damned brew you’ll ever come across. This is probably one of the most inexpensive and best lawn chair beers out there. You really should not be pouring this into a glass at all; you will be missing the point. Grab a coozie, set down a blanket or pop a lawn chair and enjoy.

the pride of chippewa falls my ass. this pours an extremely light yellow wuith a big gassy green bean nose. taste is what you’d expect. i really wanted to use this line-a beer brewed by 73 people who care, i don’t know what they care about, but it sure as shit is not beer- but i can’t it really ain’t that bad. there is an enjoyable HEAVILY watered down flavor. watery pear like flavor one of the blandest finishes i’ve experienced. i could see this as a lake beer. this is a nice pale lager as things go, but that doesn’t say much.

I’m being generous on the score, because I do enjoy some of Leine’s brews. I taste ethanol. But it is much better than Bud!

Rated 11/3/06: I really felt like picking up a simple lager or pilsner, something easy to quench my palate. Came across this and being a fan of Leinenkugel’s I grabbed a sixer. Rich golden color in my pils glas nice frothy white head and steady carbonation along with moderate lacing. Aroma is pleasant and crisp but doesn’t have much depth. Outstanding flavor for a generally boring style malty and full with just the right amount of hops. The taste is extremely clean well balanced. Surprisingly full mouthfeel with a wonderful crispness. Easy but well crafted, one of my new favorite pale lagers.

Leinenkugel’s Original 12 oz bottle Moderate pour in a shaker Recent brewing, slurped on 05 /07 Poured a clear yellow with a moderate to large white fizzy head with good lacing. Smelt of light to moderate corn and light perfumey hops. Taste was upfront light sweet light cookie and corn followed by light to moderate banana, light bread dough and spicy grassy hops on a short finish. Palate was light bodied, slightly oily, fizzy and lightly astringent. Overall, It’s a good cheap american lager, but nothing more. Nothing more.

Bottle. This beer is just like any other pale lager. Like a bud. It is good for when you are hot and sweaty and need something to cool you off.
