Average bitterness. A great pale lager, but not that great of a beer overall. incutrav (577), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 15, 2006 Somehow this brew has turned into swill around WI and MN. A case is like 12 bucks, so i like that part! Pretty typical pale lager though, but you probably look a bit more high brow drinkin a lienies then an old mil, but probably taste about the same. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Dec 3, 2006 Attractive gold color, with a quickly diminishing head. Grainly aroma, but pleasant. For some reason, the flavor of this one was quite off, rather metallic, and generally repulsive. Maybe I just got a bad bottle; however, I’m not the only one who thinks the quality of this beer has severely waned in the past few years. I hope your experience with this one is better than mine. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 23, 2006 Updated: Dec 28, 2007Ugly, empty yellow. Reeks of compost and wet hay; death. Flavor is very slightly citrusy, but more powerfully of pungent rotted vegetables and wet metals. Not clean enough to remain inoffensive. swanmann (310), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 19, 2006 Pretty beer. The bottle poured clear bright golden with a thin white head of tiny, sparkling, quickly dissipating bubbles. Heavy aroma of corn. It’s a little bit skunky and very carbonated. Any hops are struggling to peak through. Not very good, but better than Bud Light in a heartbeat. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of sweet malts, hops, and grain. The flavor is bitter, grainy, and sweet malts.ok beer. mnurda (437), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
