I usually enjoy this beer out of a bottle. This is an OK lager in my book. Malty and grainy, it does go down smooth... Not bad for your everyday swill. KingpinIPA (842), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Taste of malt, hop, corn and some alcohol with a slight dry bitterness at the end. Also I would like to note that I drank this 33,000 feet up in the air on a midwest express plane. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Drinkable, smooth and crisp. Good tailgate beer. buddythegoon (2), USA does not count | 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Aroma is fine and in general the intro to this one is refreshing and flavorful. The problem comes in once it leaves the tongue and enter s the throat. There is an overwhelming aftertaste that cancels the refreshment of the first pull. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 30, 2006 From 12 oz. twist cap brown bottle with no freshness date.
Poured a clear lager golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount sticking.
Had a nose of sweet cereal grains and cooked veggies/corn.
The usual fizzy Leinenkugel’s carbonation and a softly crisp, smooth light bodied mouthfeel.
Not awful, but bland tasting, sweet cereal grains, cooked veggies with touch of a corniness, the hops are largely macro tasteless, just a very light spiciness and a sweet malty finish, average macro lager drinkability.
I have been in bars, restaurants and concert halls where this was easily the best beer choice, on tap and in bottle, passable and drinkable, but not something I would normally purchase.

The aftertaste is somewhat unpleasant; a little sour. An ok cheap beer. TechMyst (166), Fox River Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 26, 2006 12 oz bottle. Light straw color. Excellent layered lacing. Sweet aroma. It’s a pale lager, but it’s in the top 4% in it’s style...I can see why. Owned, I see, by Miller....Says it’s from a German pils recipe, but there’s no skunk and there is actually some sweet to the grain-y side. Wish I could have had this brew before Miller switched it.
