Aug 5, 2006 I’ve onluy had this from a can. I thought it tasted great and planm to stock up whenever i’m in the Wisconsin area.

Aug 5, 2006 I’ve had this on draught, from a bottle, and from a can; most recently from a can (but poured part if it in a glass for this review). Clear and yellow, nice white head. Slight malt and hop aroma. Malt and adjunct grain (i.e. corn) flavor. Moderately carbonated, nice palate, and pretty smooth (although slight alcohol bite). A great beer on a hot day or to drink in quantity. I always enjoy Leine’s! 12 oz can, got it for $5.99 a 12-pack in Wisconsin.

Jul 22, 2006 Can. Has the tyicical aromas for a lager of grains. Yellow body with white head. Flavor isn’t as bitter as others. Was actualy a good refreshment on a hot humid day. Had this on a plane after walking through a hot and humid Milwaukee airport.

Jul 20, 2006 yellow straw appearance. Crisp taste of malt but adjuct flavors are detectable as well. carbonation is somewhat biting. very dry and astringent overall - a great lawn mowing beer!

Jul 4, 2006 The 12 ounce bottle poured a clear golden yellow beverage with a medium-small white frothy head that was mostly diminishing and left some lacing on the glass. The aroma was dominated by malt as should be the case for this style. There were notes of hops (saaz?) in the background as well. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a crisp, dry texture. The flavor starts off just slightly sweet. The finish is fairly long with the bitterness building throughout. The finish is crisp and a bit astringent.

Jun 19, 2006 Fizzy, thin head that left quckly. Pale gold. An average budget lager. Faint sourness in aftertaste. It’ll do this summer.

Jun 11, 2006 I buy this beer for $10.50 for a case. Miller or Bud is $15. a better beer for cheaper. it isn’t really a chugging beer but it still does the trick at parties. You can sip it at the campfire too, it is a versatile beer. Also, the cans for leinies originial are amazing looking.

Jun 8, 2006 Whatever all ya’ll beer snobs want to say about this stuff, I still like it. Bought it for $12.00 a case when I was in college, still get it for $14.00 or so. It is American lager beer that doesn’t taste totally like water. You can drink it unitl you get smashed and it tastes the same as all those high dollar beers do coming up. My favorite American Lager.
