Just a notch above the other American Macros....Nothing really special about this lager. For the price you can't beat this stuff tho.

Need a beer that's thick? Excellent full-bodied brew that wastes the mega brands like Bud, Miller and Coors. Say hello to my favorite brewery. When you can't afford Leine's specialty brands, you can't go wrong.

This was my favorite beer in college. When I can get it. It is a really good smooth beer.

I'LL TAKE A HIGH LIFE OVER LEINE'S ANY DAY. IT SEEMS THIS BEER IS RIGHT ON THE CUSP BETWEEN A CHEAP BEER AND A MICRO BREW. PICK A SIDE WILL YA! I WOULD DRINK IF THIS IF THIS IS ALL THAT WERE AVAILABLE.

Color is a clear gold with a two finger high head of fluffy whiteness that settled fast to a small ring and some stringy lace that drips. Smell is faint of breadish type malts and nothing else really, dry, and barely sweet. Taste is more of the same I'm afriad, breadish type maltyness, dry, weak, and watery. Bland and not much to it, light bodied with a bit of grainyness in the middle, no finish. Average at best, but if its on the menu with only other macros, I guess I'll take it.

A solid, traditional American lager. What Bud, Miller and Coors should be. Tasty, refreshing and relatively cheap. A good value brew for summer grilling or any other occasion when you want a simple honest beer.

I grew up with this beer. As a toddler I'd run off with Grandpa's bottle and swig on it until Grandma pried it from my hands. I love it as much now as I did then. It tastes like a beer should, and begs the question," why would anybody drink Budweiser?

Not bad. I am re-rating this one because the last few that I have had were just terrible compared to what else is available. Taste is flat and sick tasting, almost a little sour. Maybe I am just a little picky, my firends love this stuff.
