Lightly sweet flavor with a light bitterness in the fnish. Light body and watery texture. Fizzy carbonation. Better than many mass market pale lagers, though only marginally so. It is crisp and clean and goes down easily cold. GJF (508), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Pale yellow, thin white head. Malty flavor. Is it a great beer? No. Is it good on a hot afternoon at the baseball stadium? You bet. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 11, 2008 Maybe one of the "better" Wisc brews that comes in a can. Pours a clear, bright golden colour with a fluffy white top. Aroma is sweet, fruity- pears, dandelions and lemon on the nose. Refreshing, and I guess if nothing else is around- this beer will do the trick. drawz (10), Keene, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 10, 2008 Dark yellow in appearance with thin head. Light on hops in flavor and is typical of a pale lager. A good beer, but not the best from this brewery. MatSciGuy (638), Rosemount, Minnesota, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 13, 2008 [draft] Pours a clear deep gold with decent sized white head. Basically non-existant aroma. Flavor is malt. Thin mouthfeel. Definitely not the worst pale lager out there, but definitely nothing exciting. bhensonb (4339), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of pale malt with some grassy hop. Dark gold color with no head at all. Near medium body with decent carbonation. Flavor is a little grainy, and there is enough grassy hop to make an impression. Finish is about the same, but the hop builds up a little bitter. Not bad. hickey (32), Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2008 This beer has a soft spot in my heart. It is an affordable and tasty alternative to the larger macrobrews. It has far more flavor than bud or miller (though that is not saying much). Ice cold, this is truly a great beer.
