The first tap he saw was miller lite, and his remark was ’miller lite is a lot better than I remember". And that’s when I knew Leinenkugels was a classy american lager SHANER4 (378), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

Tastes like a typical American pale lager except without that corn flavor. Easy to drink and goes down smooth. kidmartinek (988), austin, Texas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 5, 2008 Pours a little darker pale yellow, a big white fine bubble head that doesn’t last long at all. Smells ok at first, but careful analysis reveals a bunch of leftover sugars (corn smelling) that the yeast never got a chance to consume yet. Its a little skunky, barely hoppy, little moldy, slightly bitter on the finish, pretty bad really. Don’t write your best friend back home in Colorado about this one. guyinchicago (533), marengo, Illinois, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden yellow color and has a nice sized white head. Aroma is of sugar and corn. The taste is kind of sweet, corn is noticeable and has a slight hop presence. Finish is pretty smooth and overall, it is a crisp and refreshing beer. This is a pretty good beer and it is an exceptional beer for only being about $5.50 a six pack. LinusStick (1847), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 22, 2008 Typical pale lager. Never cared for this brewer and this beer was what I expected. This is a nice step up from typical American pale lagers, but all that means is it’s a Budweiser with more light malt flavor, less metal and a little fuller. Blah. pointer11 (43), Wisconsin, USA
