As far as Leines goes, at least this one tastes like a beer. Slightly bitter taste with a bit of an offensive palate. Overall though, hey, at least Leines figured out how to actually make beer.

Draught. Pale golden colour with medium white head and fizzy carbonation. Grass and grain aroma with a slight sweetness. Very simple flavour with just a hint of hops and slightly sweet again.

Clear straw color, little to no head. Aroma is mostly corn with some malty sugars and dare I say a hint of honey...maybe? Anyways, flavor is definitely macro-like, but a step up from a regular Miller or a Bud. Mostly sweet malt and corn flavor, just like the aroma. Flavor gets very sweet near the end with that honey-like flavor. Obviously not great, but not too bad for a ’basic’ beer staple in the great north.

Had it on tap. Tasted like Miller Light. NOt very good. Only bought it because it was the best of the shitty beer they had at this bar

Good all around drinking beer for everyday. Perfect for parties, hanging out, or at bars, but decent enough with food too.

Beer pours a clear golden color with a foamy head that goes away and leaves decent lacing. Smell is mostly of a macro, but seems to have something slightly more to it. Taste has a slight sweetness to it, almost like a very light crisp honey. Taste is better than the average macro, but I can’t bring myself to bringing it above average just because it is better than an average macro. Mouthfeel is alright, not great. Drinkability, I could put back a few of these no problem.

Not bad. I am now looking forward to trying the other Leine lines. I enjoyed the taste overall as well as the other characteristics of the beer.
