Leinenkugel’s has a good taste with a pleasant bite. This is an above-average beer with pleasant mouth feel. Also has a crisp finish. A good meat and potatoes beer. I bought this in Wisconsin. The Original Leinenkugel’s is not available in Louisiana. I look forward to the other 11 in this 12 pack ྫྷ oz. cans).

Excellent Flavor Carbonation, color, very drinkable, not watery. Not a complicated flavor, but not expected when sampling an American Lager. Best of the Leininkugels family. Other leinenkugels beers are not for beer drinkers. Also, very cheap here in MN. Knocks the pants off any offerings from Budweiser, Miller, Coors, or any other common American Lager Best in its class!. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Straw yellow with a active medium white head. Macro look and feel. Aroma of sweet malt, noble hops and breadiness to boot. Taste of sweet malt, grassy hops and grains. A step up from its big brother Miller since it has no real skunkiness, corn not real evident and it’s only mildly astringent. hero12 (61), USA

Poured a yellow color, was basically like other american lagers with a little more taste. Lawsonciv (28), Norman, Oklahoma, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Bottle. Poured a straw yellow color with a white head that diminished rather quick. Aroma was straw, hay and malts. Flavor was weak and much like Bud Light. Not a lot there. Very watery nad thin body. Fratto (763), Arlington, Texas, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 16, 2009 Not great - sour cidery aroma with a thin body. Faint, slightly vegetal grain at the start and a sour lingering finish on the sides of the tongue - no real, bitter, hops in this at all. Looks don’t count for much in a beer, IMO, but this looks like a gazillion other pale lagers. Lower than average ABV really seals this one for me. Some may prefer, especially if you are a big Michelob fan.
