The smell is non-existent but limited malt hints are present. The taste is a bit watered down but some graininess and mild flavors. A slight taste of some earthy hop tones but overall this is a bland beer. Overall this is a disappointing beer with room to improve. travita (1970), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Pours a reddish amber with a decent, fizzy off-white head that fades rather quick. Mild aroma of light malt and a bit of hops spice. Smooth malt flavor with a light tingle of hops. Nice malty finish and a soft palate makes for a pretty good easy drinking, session beer. Beats out the Leinies original like a fat kid winning an eating contest. Beer had decent taste and was refreshing, I wouldn’t buy again just because I like my stronger ales so much more. Still a refreshing beer and I wouldn’t turn one down if it was offered to me.
