Oct 30, 2009 Pours amber-red with a fluffy off-white head. Spicy-floral hop aroma. Taste is much like the aroma, floral hops, grassy-maltiness, clean, not overpowering hops but it’s the main taste profile in this one. Slight notes of caramel. Clean, crisp and drinkable. Tastes like a vienna.

Oct 18, 2009 Pours with a nice copper color, thick head. Taste is smooth with a somewhat bitter aftertaste. This is a good summer/fall beer -- good with brats, burgers and other grilled foods.

Oct 4, 2009 Pours a beautiful reddish cooper crowned by a thick mop of tan foam. Aroma is hops and a hint of caramel. Creamy on the palate with a malty taste profile and a nice dry finish. Pairs well with summer foods such as burgers, brats, or pastrami.

Aug 26, 2009 12oz bottle quite awhile ago. One of the better reds I had at the time - better than Killian’s or Smithwicks, but not as good as the craft reds elsewhere in America.

Aug 18, 2009 12oz bottle served in a shaker. Poured a clear copper red hue with a thin, light tan head that disappeared in a few seconds. The aroma was surprisingly rich and malty. Full of caramel and light toast. The flavor had sweet toasted malt, caramel, and a quick crisp hop bite at the finish. Medium-bodied with a light amount of prickly carbonation. Actually pretty decent. A nice flavorful lager.
