It pours a deep amber with a white head. It is vey hoppy and has a cold metallic bubbly smooth finish. It is pretty much like Killians. henryalvz (32), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 31, 2006 Amber brown color. Foamy head with little roasted malt flavor. Not bad flavor for a lager. Has some biterness. Not bad easy drinking beer, but for 7.99 a six, I’ll stay with Killians. theisti (1689), Leawood, Kansas, USA

Real carbonated but not a good example of an american dark lager. But a godd drinking beer never the less aarossell (151), Grandville, Michigan, USA

Lots of lacing which lasted thru the glass. Has a decent roasted aroma. Sweet, malty, crisp, clean, bready/doughy, nondescript amber flavor. Kind of thin, metalic aftertaste. Nothing wrong with it, nothing special about it. Tastes like a watered down Yuengling. Plenty of better stuff out there. zombywoof (362), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 17, 2006 Sweet aroma, moderately sweet malt flavor with biscuit/bread notes- kinda like Killians Red but smoother palate. For cheap football beer Leinenkugel’s is a winner. Aaaahhh!!!! I just saw Dick Vermeil shilling for Coors Light! themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA
