| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 13, 2006 Sampled from bottle. Pours clear copper-red with a thin white head. Aroma resembles toasted bread and maple syrup. Flavor is balanced and bready with a bit of caramel. Medium-light body and well-carbonated. Uninspired, but very drinkable. xfactor (6), USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 11, 2006 I didn’t like this beer at first. But, it began to really grow on me. I found that it became a very easy beer to drink. The pour is nice with a good amount of head. Its a good weeknight drink. GTown (126), New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 11, 2006 Bottle. Color is just about ideal for the style. Moderate head and lacing. Some toasted aromas and sweetness. Finish could use some work. Not a bad effort. I would like to try more from the brewery to be fair. Woodpecker (23), Warrenville, Illinois, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 8, 2006 Being a hop-head, this isn’t my cup of tea (or beer.) Nothing special but nothing really bad either. At least it’s drinkable but only in small quantities. Pretty plain. JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jan 2, 2006 Finally rating the beer that got me into beer. The beer I got a quarter barrel of for my college graduation which decommishioned me very fast (and which I vomitted all over my bed). Reddish amber color. Creamy light-tan head. Sweet, slightly spicy malt aroma. Again, sweet and slightly spicy brown sugar in the taste. Light sugared citrus fruit. There is some crappy cardboard in there, but this beer is rating a little better than I expected. JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 2, 2006 Pours a nice amber color with light tan head that lingers. Aroma of malt and hops with some a dash of brown sugar.
Taste follows aroma.
Nothing special, but a decent beer for everyday drinking when you don’t want an everyday beer. hezron (602), Viroqua, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 30, 2005 On tap, had this one many times. I think it may have been my first legal brew. Now I am not that impressed. Aroma is light with a bit of grassiness and the flavor has too much of a metalic thing in it. Very easy to drink though, especially at a wedding reception when it is free.
