Pours a nice medium amber color. Nice roast aroams. Flavor has a roast almost burnt grain flavor to it.

Decent, if its the only thing on tap. Best attribute is its price. Pours a deep red, small head, sweet to start and bitter to finish.

Poured a perfect red color. No head. No lacing. I can’t place the aroma. It is a weird sweet smell that reminds me of Jolly Ranchers. Thin malt flavor with hints of the aroma in it. For $4 per 6-er it is better than most for a session or watching a football game.

Nice amber color but head and lacing disappear quickly. Drinkable in mass quantities but not much taste. Plain Jane

amber color, readily available in the midwest. this is a great beer to pregame for another purdue football loss. i would consider leinie’s red to be my budweiser. inexpensive, easy to drink.

For some reason, this was called Leinenkugels "Pilsener" on the draft board at County Grill. I scanned the other "popular" Leinenkugels beers and this was the only one I could think it was. Draft. Reddish amber bodied with a small off-white head. Nose is slightly hoppy with caramel and sweet malts and light fruit aromas. Taste is mild hop/citrus with caramel, sweet malts and dried fruits. Not very complex but drinkable and complimentary to the food. Body is light-medium with mild carbonation feel. Finishes with a diminishing hop profile and a drier maltiness. Some light caramel still comes through here as do more dried fruit notes. Maybe a hint of bread as well. Not bad!
