| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 7, 2005 A good beer, not a great one, but with the tremendous number of bad beers out there at much higher prices, Leinie’s Red represents a good value. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 5, 2005 12oz bottle poured copper with a decent beige head. Aroma is caramel malt, a touch of nuts and a bit of floral hops. Flavor is malty, caramel, somewhat sweet with a crisp floral finish. On the palate this is light and somewhat watery. This is drinkable but nothing impressive. TheBeerOrg (1578), Kentucky, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 28, 2005 Amber with golden hues, with a fully diminishing white head. Mild biscuity, nutty cereal aroma. Similar tastes, but very restrained. Stale lager finish. Unoffending, but not good. I remember this being better. Gurst (338), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 26, 2005 Dark amber and red color, pleasant enough malty aroma. Taste is more watery than I’d expected. Sweet, slightly toasted malt tastes dominate, but a light floral crisp is present throughout. No good balance between malt and hops, both seem to be off. jb (1046), Rochester, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 19, 2005 Floral aroma. Nice red color with tan head. Malty palate with some carbonation and dry hoppy finish. WisconsinBeer (522), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 30, 2005 Dry roasted malts with a hint of sweetness lingering in the background. Very mild hop profile. Well carbonated and crisp, this is smooth on the palate and easy to drink. Nothing amazing but once again Leinies comes through with a decent beer for a macro price. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2005 Pours a reddish amber with a thick white head. Aroma is malty. Flavor is light and the body is thin, but it is tasty, with a rich caramel maltiness and some crisp hops. The In-laws coming over this weekend gave me an excuse to buy this to add it in to the mix of beers I currently have on hand.
