| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 4, 2005 overall an average beer at best, and a mediocre beer at its worst. poured out a slightly red/amber color, barely any nose to it at all. Hops and some malt mainly in the nose, not a beer i’d hunt out to ever drink again on purpose. slothgar (39), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 1, 2005 Nice amber color. Not a big fan of the head, for some reason, I think it smells a bit off. Goes down fairly easy, easier the more you drink. DKlovesbeer (172), Sarasota, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jan 22, 2005 Nice copper body with a foamy, tan head. Head lasts a while and leaves a bit of lace at the rim. Aroma is typical of a lager, nothing fancy, just some non-distinct malt, and crisp hops. Flavor is simple, with mild notes of hops on a background of malt. Occasional off flavors linger in the palate. Some sour notes. Finishes dry with a note of hops at the bitter end. Overall, nice to try, and at $4.49 for a six pack I was pleasantly surprised. Makes a good session beer and I’d gladly drink it again at that price. hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 19, 2005 It looked a bit nicer than your average macro brew, had an okay amount of head and aroma. The body was much thinner than I hoped. There wasn’t much malt, hops, or anything else in this. A bit of carmel taste, with maybe a tad bit of fruit. Muckrakerr (33), Muskegon, Michigan, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 19, 2005 Reminds me more of a Premium Lager than a Dark. Pours to a nice creamy head. Some sweet maltiness that puts me in mind of Samuel Adams Boston Lager but suddenly it disappers to a slightly yeasty, hoppy finish. Pretty good beer for the price; $5.39/6pk. beastdog75 (337), Brick, New Jersey, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 11, 2005 I thought that this was a rather bland "red" lager. Pours more of a brownish-amber color. There is some caramel malt sweetness to it and some light hoppiness, but it still comes across as bland and watery. Pailhead (2597), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 10, 2005 Bottle: Light malt aroma of fruit and caramel. Pours a nice transparent amber with a off-white head that has some staying power. Extremely light sweetness up front with a roasty and pale lager skunk hop finish. Watery. Fizzy mouthfeel.
