Not big on anything, and the taste is unremarkable and not pleasent to me. I’ll drink anything else, really. If you want a decent Leine’s beer, try the Big Butt Dopplebock. spkldhenlvr24 (465), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 26, 2004 Bottle. Not horrible, but far from a good beer. Pours a clear amber/reddish orange body with a small white head. Weak sweet, malty aroma. Slight caramel and hops. Decent malty, weak roasted flavor. Drinkable. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Dec 7, 2004 bottle...clear copper pour with medium light tan head that dissipates fast. Lots of malts in the aroma, not much else discernable. Mildly sweet to start, smooth mouthfeel. Just a twinge of bitterness from hops to finish. Good easy drinking ale. ancherrera (161), Cape Coral, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2004 Much beter than the other Lineys I had. When in WI do as the cheeseheads and drink the local stuff. This one is a good choice. PattyBoy (302), North Liberty, Iowa, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 2, 2004 Pours a red amber(?), not sure if that’s a color, but it’s not quite red. Nice white head with some lacing. Flavor is sweet, caramel, some breadiness and fruitiness(cherry). Enough hops to know that they’re present. A bit thin, but a decent brew.
