Not an unpleasant beer, if a little ordinary. Still, there’s a moderately enjoyable maltiness in the drink, with a slight hop dryness in the finish. I notice a little toffee, a little caramel, enough to make this better than other macro Reds like Killians. Not bad, overall--good for summertime cookouts, ballgames, and that kind of things, while not a serious beer of any sort of complexity.

I usually like red beers, yet this leinenkugel brand has pretty much disappointed me in everything i’ve tried before - this beer has nothing unique or interesting to it.

On tap at Haymarket Park in Lincoln, NE. Nice ballpark beer. Dark red amber in color. Tan head with good retention. Malty caramel flavor. Does not have a very high alcohol content, as a couple of 22 oz. cups go down without a buzz.

Pours reddish/amber, with decent head. Aroma of malt, caramel. Tastes malty, with a smooth, crisp finish.

Grainy malt aroma. Hints of caramel and toasted malts. Thin and boring, worse than Killians, not worth the time.

This is a good red lager, with a decent pour and appearance, but I’ll stick with Killians.

Feh. It’s alright. No real aroma. Overly carbonated. Fairly bland overall. Good for a macro.
