| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 31, 2004 Not an unpleasant beer, if a little ordinary. Still, there’s a moderately enjoyable maltiness in the drink, with a slight hop dryness in the finish. I notice a little toffee, a little caramel, enough to make this better than other macro Reds like Killians. Not bad, overall--good for summertime cookouts, ballgames, and that kind of things, while not a serious beer of any sort of complexity. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2004 On tap at Haymarket Park in Lincoln, NE. Nice ballpark beer. Dark red amber in color. Tan head with good retention. Malty caramel flavor. Does not have a very high alcohol content, as a couple of 22 oz. cups go down without a buzz. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | May 11, 2004 Grainy malt aroma. Hints of caramel and toasted malts. Thin and boring, worse than Killians, not worth the time. darkerdabetter (255), Michigan, USA
