| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Apr 29, 2004 Pours a medium brown color with a tan head, which quickly recedes. Aroma is weak, just a harbinger of things to come with this brew. This beer is very light bodied, with little hop presence, and barely any malt presence to make up for it. I don’t like it. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 24, 2004 (Bottle) Pours a deep amber color with creamy head. Wish it tasted as good as it looks. Just an average tasting red lager. Aubrey (2781), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 17, 2004 Very clear and deep amber-orange; frothy, long-lasting head with sticky lace. Palate can be a little watery at times, but it's not too bad. Malts are slightly toasted and roasted, but somewhat one-dimensional. Surprising amount of bitterness, but otherwise, the hops don't contribute too much excitement. Far from undrinkable, just not very charismatic - especially in the malt department. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2004 Shimmering pellucid tawny with mahogany/oak edges along with a light cap of head and minimlal lacing. The aroma is averagely malty with some light diactyl notes and a light musty hoppiness. The flavor is balanced & mild with a crispy hop tail followed by a watery finish. Average beer, not too bad. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2004 Light ruby/mahogany, creamy head and spotty lacing. Wet malt aromas, bitter and citrus hops with some spices. Malt, mostly sweet; hops, mostly bitter. Creamy palate with a finish of bitter alcohol. Skip (206), Indiana, USA

The stuff that African tribsemen ferment by chewing and spitting into an open bowl is a better choice.
