Couldn’t really pick up any distinctive aromas and the pour left nothing more than a run-of-the-mill red lager and a off-white head. Flavor was sparingly malty without much substance. Would not be my first Red choice. topherh (931), Kearney, Missouri, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Jan 13, 2009 Pours well red with a decent off white head. Very little in the way of aroma. Flavor is light malts and a bit of bitterness. Easy to drink. FlssmrBrewAlum (1156), Lisle, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 3, 2009 12 oz bottle from the variety pack in the girlfriend’s mother’s basement fridge that I put there. Pours a nice amber hue, largely transparent, with a moderate white head that dissipates to a smaller amount. Aromas are malty, subtle, crisp, with maybe a touch of spice. Taste starts a touch bitter, moving to some nice bready maltiness and a touch of spice. Body is fairly light with a nice bitterness, sessionable, well built Leinies brew. A decent alternative that is well appreciated when all you have is macro yellow lagers staring you in the face. Travlr (754), Washington, Washington DC, USA

Of course, we usually drank PBR or Red White and Blue. This is a notch up from those. Barely. badwhale (51), Bitterville, Pennsylvania, USA
