Apr 15, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a very beautiful dark amber with a delicate, creamy, beige head. Sweet accents of caramel in the aroma. Medium body with plenty of sweet caramel malt - almost slightly perfumy. Quite lovely really. No bitterness. 270306

Dec 20, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a big rich off white head and copper color. Aroma is yeasty, grain. Taste is not good, wet cardboard, some aspirin. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out.

Dec 22, 2002 I tasted this beer at a tavern in Detroit. It went well with my pork chops. I recall a great head and good lacing. Nothing ruins a meal with the in-laws like me with a notebook at the table. I didn’t want to push it. Rely on my score and the verbiage of other RateBeerians.

Dec 24, 2003 This was always one of my favorites, that is until I found this website. Still an enjoyable malty lager with a good toasty flavor to it. A good session beer, but not much more than that.
