Pours a clear, but dark reddish copper colour with a small to medium sized off white head. Aroma is very nutty, slight hops and caramel. Taste is creamy, light and refreshing and full on the palate. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 26, 2008 Labeled "Ted’s Pail Ale" from Montgomery Inn in Cincinnati. Pours very nice dark amber color, but very weak light tan head that completely dissipates almost immediately. Smells and tastes very reminiscent to some home brewed beers made with sweet malt extracts. Mostly sweet malty flavor with some banana bread and spice at the finish. Very lightly carbonated and a somewhat watery body. WesKBob (321), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA

Flavor is lots of malt with just a touch of hops in the finish. Not bad for sitting on the patio at CIP, but nothing to write home about. shackinetics (132), Florida, USA

Not much to the nose - some sweet malts. About the same to the mouth - malty grains with some banana tones. A little spice/pepper as well. Nothing to get excited about. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

It was o.k. but nothing to write home about. Went pretty good with my food but nothing special (on the other hand, I’d probably get it again if I ever go back). RedXIII (127), Powell, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 29, 2007 Pours a dark coppery red color, but that’s about where the positives end. Aroma was faint, with a mix of hops and spices. Flavor was sharp with an unpleasant bite of spices and citrus. Finish was bitter but not very smooth. Pass on this paradise drink.
