| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Was named Cheeseburger Paradise Island Ale at Cheeseburger paradise in Sterling Heights, MI. Draft: Dark maroon when it came to my table with a soapy white head. Rather bready, doughy, some skunky characteristics, and a bit of caramel flavoring. Taste was decent but probably what you expect from Leinenkugel and Cheeseburger Paradise. Overall, It was way to expensive, and not much on the taste and palate. Glad I tried it but wouldn’t get it again. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma and flavor was slightly malty but it was nothing suprising. They had a few other decent beers on tap that I would probably get before this. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Updated: Feb 1, 2008This draft brew from Cheeseburger Paradise in Fishers, IN was server in a frozen mug from a tap held at 31 degrees F! Needless to say, I had to let it warm up a lot before I could rate it. It originally was served with its head frozen. It was amazing to look at the bubbles in the form of ice! I had never had a beer served to me that cold. It was crystallized for crying out loud. The warmed up head was mostly diminished by then, but still retained its off-white color. The body was golden brown and devoid of carbonation by the time it warmed up. It never did have any aroma either way. Of course, the flavor was drowned out by the cold until it warmed up. It did develop a slight malt hop brown malt note flavor to it but it was very faint. The best part of this experience was from HotStuff. She was very upset by it being sooo cold that she wrote the management a letter. It was hilarious! She must have called the beer "Served Way To Cold" 15 times in that letter! Do you think she made her point and they listened? After all, they did have a sign over the bar proudly displaying the fact that they serve their beer at 31 degrees F! Well, we did get a $30 apology from the management in the form of free food and drink! But will they change? I doubt it!

Malty aroma. Malty flavors with hints of molasses, honey, sweet malts, etc. A lil too sweet for an APA if you ask me, enjoyable, but not great. JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2006 Pours reddish amber with an off-white head. A slightly nutty, mostly malty aroma with some hoppiness. Flavor is overly carbonated with a mild malt presence and a slightly sweet hop finish. Very similar to their Red in my opinion. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 11, 2006 Draft at Cheesburger Paradise in Fishers, IN. Small ivory head with fair lacing, transparent, carbonated, and a golden orange hue. Malty, hoppy nose and ditto for the flavor. Tingly mouthfeel. This beer was served at 30-31 degrees which caused the head to turn icy and chunks of ice formed in the body due to the way too cold serving temperature. Wait staff was alerted to this fact and I proceeded to file a complaint to their office about this situation and was in turn sent a $30.00 gift certificate due to my dissatisfaction in the manner in which this particular location served this particular beer. A possible re-rate may take place yet this month.
