The house beer "Island Ale" at Cheeseburgers in Paradise in Woodbridge,Va . A decent light pale ale . Light color with little disernable nose. The flavor was slighly hoppy but not much.

On draft at this pub at Minneapolis International Airport. Nice amber color. Decent sized head. Aroma is nothing like an APA. Kind of hoppy though, but not what I expected.Confusing taste. Kind of sweet. Not much in the hops department. Just an average beer in my opinion.

poured a dark amber w/ a nice off white well laced head. Smells of sweet carmel malt and light grass hop. Palate is highly carbonated lightly acididc fairly middle of the road body. Lightly bitter taste followed by a carmel sweetness. A fairly mild taste but a good sitting in the sun beer. Overall not bad stuff.

Had this from the tap at Minneapolis airport as "Split Rock Ale". Golden amber body with a thin white head. Light, thin sweet/floral flavor with a hoppy finish.

Tap at Split Rock in the Minnie airport. Called Split Rock ale. Beautiful clear copper w a ruby tint. Nice beige head that held fairly well, minimal lace. Aroma is light malt w mild hops. Flavor is on the low end of med bodied, moderately malty w a nice bitterness, a bit sharp & crisp, some tartness, amber malt tasting w a touch of spiciness. Decent bitterness on the finish. This was better than I thought it would be untill it started to warm up a bit. It took on a certain BMC characteristic with a touch of plastic taste.

On tap at Cheesburgers in Paradise, sold as "Island Ale." Amber/Orange in color with a small off-white head. Light grassy citrus aroma. Not really much initial flavor. Some of the hops come through in the finish. Palate was very light and watery. It quenched my thirst for sure.
