Was well received by all. I enjoyed this beer maybe too much. Enjoyed it more than the draft at least. squirlbuz (1), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 21, 2006 I was a big fan of this beer. I swear it was called numskull at the Applebee’s in Green Bay, but I did see that it said "Leinie’s" on the side of the tapper. I have been looking for hints of this to show up in bottles somewhere, but haven’t seen anything. I thought it was great. My favorite Leinenkugel is the Red, but this may challenge that. This is a special brew available at Curly’s Pub in the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay. Amber in color with a slight cream colored head. Very strong aftertaste. If you are in Green Bay you have to stop into Curly’s and have a brew. Also, do the stadium tour it is unbelievable. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA

This brew is clear ruby orange copper. The average white creamy head is mostly diminishing, and has fair lacing. The too subtle clean nose is mostly citrus hops, with some perfume and flowers; some earthiness and spice is also present. The flavor is rich and balanced with the grapefruit and orange citrus flavor rounding out the middle. The creamy smooth body is light to medium with lively carbonation and has a light astringency to the finish. An excellent compliment to my meal. BuckyinMinn (18), Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA

Several years ago, the chain "Applebee’s" approached Leinie’s for an on-tap beer marketed as a local ale. Leinies only sells the beer to restaurants in 1/2 barrells--not available in bottles or cans. Also, if you go to the Leinies Lodge in Chippewa falls, this beer is NOT available.
Easily the best brew that Leinies makes...hoppy for their own style, but if you can find it, try it. Jayson2425 (167), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA

Asked Brass Rail owner who made it and he told me that Leinenkugles did special for them and even sent them a nice looking tap handle. Enjoyed the taste and had too many leading to a wisconsin princess(6-1, 275) taking me home. All i can say is that I loved the beer. Braudog (3780), Dayton, Ohio, USA

Stout malt aroma that's followed with a surprisingly fruity hop character. Pretty good. baseballguy (246), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

The tap read: Emma Husby’s Ale (Leinenkugel Seasonal). I’m not sure whether this matches another Leinie product sold under a more common name, or whether this is a beer made specially available to (just Wisconsin?) pubs to sell under their own names. Whichever, it’s pretty good ale. I attended Husby’s with a Husby friend of mine whose relatives used to own the place, and by his flashing his credit card with the Husby name on it we got our first tap free. Not bad!
