Pours gold/straw with a thin white head. Smells of wheat, lysol. Tastes like lemon candy with some beery hints. Alcopop.

Tastes like someone accidentally dropped a Lemon Ricola cough drop in it. Has a nice aroma due to the lemon zest in this brew, but that’s about all it has going for it.

I had a few sips of this. Why on earth would anyone drink this? If you like Lemonade, drink a Mike’s Hard. If you like beer, drink that. It’s awful, and I couldn’t finish it.

good summer beer... Not great. Nice clean lemon flavor if you like that. I would have again. Serve very cold: avoid during winter months!

12 oz bottle. Well, "lemonade flavor" pretty much describes this beer. Drunk straight from the bottle. Aroma is beer, with notes of lemonade. Flavor is, well, something else - a concoction of lemonade and beer with notes of wheat. It’s not awful, but this shouldn’t be drunk unless you’ve been outside in the hot sun and the beer is served just above freezing. Better than the alternative - Mike’s Hard Lemonade.

bottle poured with a light wheat color and a fizzy white head that smacked at the surface with carbonation. aroma has hard lemon candy, sweetness, and a touch of malted beer. mouth feel has a strange soda pop and wheat beer cross with plenty of carbonation. flavor does have some thin wheat beer, sugary sweet but not syrupy, and the unavoidable lemonade. not a terrible concoction and could be enjoyed on a hot day perhaps even with a lemon wedge.

This is a great beer on a hot day. I actually bought it by accident, but I’m glad I did. I’ve had shandies from overseas before, but this was the first with lemonade. Like Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, there is a hint of the fruit flavor in the smell and in the finish, but not to where it overpowers the fact that it’s still a beer. It’s very refreshing and is perfect for the hot summer months, especially after cutting the grass or a round of golf.

A palate cleanser offered up by our host. Um, well…. Not so good, despite my having some affinities for the Leinie boys. Not only are they regularly on Zabe’s most excellent morning Fox Sports radio show, but an early Leinie’s run in my craft beer pursuit has always left me holding a special place in my heart for them. In any event, this thing poured ok, nice soda-pop like carbonation, ok retention. Golden yellow body with some haze. The aroma, though, is where it didn’t go so well moving forward, quite lemonade-like, wheat hardly detectable. The flavor was the same, a rather intensely sweet lemon-ade beverage that drowns out any beer-ness for the most part. Might as well go with Mike’s Hard Lemonade if you like this. Oh well, I guess it’s a cheap rating to make up for some down beer time. Gotta get that liver prepped up for the future beach trip.
